Today is Yom Ha’Shoah - Holocaust Remembrance Day. This is a picture of the “toilets” at the concentration camp in Birkenau that I took in July 2010. The physical remnants of the camps will probably not last another few generations, but what’s important is that we keep alive the memory of the terror that human beings are capable of inflicting upon one another.
